my love for the house that does not exist

I loved the movie The Ghost Writer. Mainly because of the Walter Knoll interior in that amazing house on the beach (in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts). Don't get me wrong -the plot of the movie was interesting too as it was loosely based on the previous British prime minister, but what made it a great experience were the images of the house and the sleek interiors.

At daytime the house was basking in sunlight and at night, it transformed into a luxury lair. To my disappointment the house does not actually exist, and the movie was not even filmed in the US as the notorious director Roman Polanski cannot enter the country. The interiors, however, were filled with the Walter Knoll furniture. The property is full of sofas, chairs and furniture from the executive office range - namely CEOO, FK, FK 86 Lounge, Foster, Gio and Living Landscape.

So here's a peek to that dream house that does not exist.
