Now, this Canadian cottage looks like a really fun and interesting way to pack five people to sleep in a small space - and they all get to enjoy some breaktaking country views too.
The storage is also efficiently taken care of by placing five wooden storage bins under the triple-lenght lower sleeping area. Very innovative and streamlined design. This would definitely work for a kids room!
Oh la la. This country kitchen looks so rustic and French chic - it is just what I need after a day of running around like a headless chicken! Sweet cream and pale green shades, displays of pretty dishes, everything just looks so timeless and relaxed. A haven for the mind...
Last week I was reading how the new hot thing (at least in England) is to have two kitchens. There is the one clean and inspiring show kitchen and somewhere nearby the kitchen/utility room where the mess resides and all the smelly stuff is being cooked.
I was thinking this weekend how great it would be to leave the mess behind for later as the pots and pans kept piling up in our tiny kitchen while we were preparing for the party...
This kitchen transformation to a cute and calming cottage style one is nothing short of inspirational, especially as pictured is just the butler's pantry and not even the kitchen yet. All that countertop space! Lovely creamy cabinets, the handles so cottage, and the paint on the wall makes it just dreamy. Love everything about it!
